As announced on Tuesday, Bloc Party released their new album, ‘Intimacy’, yesterday. The band’s Kele Okereke has been talking about the pricing structure, which surely isn’t exciting news any more. But, anyway, let’s explain it. Fans can pre-order the album on CD, which will be delivered in October, and download it instantly, or pay £5 for a downloadable version with fewer tracks. Read more

When A Weekend In The City was released early in 2007, Bloc Party managed to split their fan base over their new style. Gone (for the most part) were the easy going indie guitar riffs and in came swooning orchestral guitar and synthesizer scores.
Looking back now, its hard to see what all the fuss was about when their latest single may as well be from an entirely different band.
