Kaisers sign to Liberator in Australia

Kaiser Chiefs have announced a distribution and licensing deal for Australia with Liberator Music, which is interesting mainly because the Chiefs are signed to Universal Music affiliates elsewhere in the world, while Liberator is an independent with a distribution alliance with Warner Music. Liberator will release the band’s upcoming third album two days ahead of its UK release via Universal/B-Unique. Read more

Kaiser Chiefs have announced that their third album, ‘Off With Their Heads’, will be released on 13 Oct. Not only that, but the band’s Ricky Wilson has told the BBC that it will inject something “weird and fresh and radical” into the “very boring” indie scene. Read more

The Leeds lads that are Kaiser Chiefs have revealed that their new album, entitled Off With Their Heads, will be released on October 13th via Universal Records. The record, which is produced by Mark Ronson and Elliot James, features contributions from Lilly Allen and New Young Pony Club. The first single ‘Never Miss A Beat’ will precede the album by a week.
