Write For AS
Here at AudioScribbler we\’re currently looking for writers to join us. We’re not necessarily looking for people with years of experience in music journalism under their belts (although if you do, welcome aboard!) - we’re looking for people who love listening to and writing about new music.
We’re also looking for people who like to get involved - through email, over msn, facebook and our forum. We’re always communicating, swapping demos, passing about promo CDs. Enthusiasm is the key trait that we\’re looking for. As we are a non-profit website, unfortunately we can’t pay our writers. However, we do get sent many CDs for reviewing from record companies, bands, artists and people in PR.
We can post these out to writers should they request it, but we also put any CDs recieved into an online directory. Our writers can then search the directory for anything they might like the look of. We’ll then send the writer the contents of that CD, usually the same day as it is requested. We currently have 150+ CDs in our online directory. Whenever possible, we can also do our best to get you into gigs, to review them for free.
If you would like to apply to write for AudioScribbler, please send a music or film review between 300-500 words to audioscribbler@gmail.com.
